The four tabs
๐ Today
A card for every profile showing its bird, the day's sunrise and sunset, what the bird is doing now, Rahu Kalam and the Amrita window. Below are coming padu and adhikara days, with optional alerts.
๐ช Family
Everyone in a group side by side for the next 1โ4 weeks: whose padu day or adhikara day/night it is. Backtest a moment shows what every bird was doing at a past date and time.
๐ Calendar
The whole year coloured by strength for one profile. Tap a month, then a day, to see all ten jamas with their main and sub activities, best windows and bells.
๐ค Profiles
Add, edit and delete people (and the five quick bird profiles), see the birth analysis, and back up or restore all profiles.
Reading a day
Day (sunrise โ sunset) and night (sunset โ next sunrise) are each split into five equal jamas. In each jama the bird does one main activity, and each jama is split into five sub-periods.
- โ Sookshma best
- Main and sub activity are both Eat or Rule, and the sookshma bird is your own bird or a friend: the strongest windows.
- โ Padu day
- The bird is powerless all day and night. Avoid new starts, arguments, big purchases and long-term beginnings.
- โ Adhikara
- The bird eats in the first jama and leads that day (from sunrise) or night (from sunset).
- โฆ Amrita window
- A short helpful window inside Rahu Kalam, shown on every day view.
โ Actual Sun clock
All timings follow the real sunrise and sunset at the person's current place, worked out for each date. That is why the current city matters: the same day starts at different times in Chennai, Delhi or London. Day jamas are longer in summer and shorter in winter.
๐ Alerts

Questions
My town is not in the list
The list has every Indian city and town with a known population, all district headquarters and city areas, and world places with 5,000+ people. Old names also work (Mangalore, Bangalore, Bombayโฆ). If a small town is missing, pick the nearest town: 15 km makes less than a minute of difference to sunrise. Or type the latitude and longitude yourself.
What is the "UTC offset at birth"?
It is worked out from the birth place and date, including old time-zone and daylight-saving changes. Change it only if you know the exact clock time used at the birth.
Where is my data kept?
Only on your device, inside the browser or installed app. Nothing is uploaded. Use Profiles โ Export backup now and then, and Import backup on a new phone.
Which bird should I track?
The nakshatra (birth) bird is fixed for life and read for character. The name bird is commonly used for day-to-day activities, and the tithi bird for remedies and temple visits. Choose under Which bird to track in the profile.
